COLLABORATIVE LAW AND MEDIATION

Issues between you and your former partner do not necessarily need to involve the Court, as Collaborative Law and Mediation offer solutions that may often be speedier, less confrontational and more cost effective.

Collaborative Law is a relatively new way of dealing with family disputes. Negotiation between you both is face to face, with you each having the benefit of your own solicitor present to provide you with legal advice. The aim is to avoid the Court process and you will enter an agreement at the start to make this clear. Mediation helps you reach joint decisions on an amicable basis with the assistance of a trained mediator in relation to all issues arising out of your separation including finances and children disputes.
